Privacy Policy

nomorework is designed so your financial plan and workspace stay in your browser. Limited operational data is still processed when you load the site, run a calculation, request market quotes, verify a license, or make a purchase. This policy explains those differences.

Plans, balances, accounts, incomes, expenses, benefits, scenarios, and location settings are stored in your browser's local storage. When you use planning features, those browser-held scenarios are transmitted over HTTPS to our calculation routes so projections and analyses can run on the server. Scenario payloads are processed transiently for that request and are not persisted in our application database or written into operational logs.

Browser storage is tied to the device and browser profile. Other people using the same profile may be able to view it. Clearing browser storage or using Start Fresh removes the local copy. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them.

• Plan calculations: scenario data needed for a request is sent to our calculation routes, used to produce the response, and is not retained server-side.
• Plan purchases: your account email and account identifier are sent to Lemon Squeezy when you start a purchase, so the purchase can be linked to your account. Lemon Squeezy notifies us of the result, and we store the plan status against your account to enforce access.
• Market quotes: requested ticker symbols are sent to our quote route and Yahoo Finance. Plan values and holding quantities are not included in that request.
• Site requests: hosting infrastructure may process an IP address, request path, user agent, timestamps, response status, and security or diagnostic information. Structured application logs record request identifiers, operation names, status, duration, and provider event identifiers only - not financial scenario contents.
• Visit analytics (Performance cookies): an anonymous visitor ID, page route, referring domain, campaign tags, and funnel steps reached (such as starting or finishing the Explorer). No plan values, amounts, ages, or names are included.
• Purchases: Lemon Squeezy collects the checkout and billing information needed to complete and administer a purchase.

nomorework uses first-party browser storage and cookies for functions such as theme choice, navigation state, onboarding state, comparison state, and an anonymous billing session used to enforce Planner access. Unless you turn them off, we also set a first-party analytics cookie (one year) to measure which pages lead to the planner. Choose which cookie types to allow in the cookie notice, and change your choice any time from Cookie Settings in the footer; turning off Performance cookies stops analytics and deletes the stored visitor record. We do not set advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies.

We process limited operational information to:

• deliver and secure the website;
• run plan calculations requested from your browser;
• apply purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds to your account's Planner access;
• open the billing portal and provide purchased access;
• retrieve requested market quotes;
• diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits; and
• meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

We use the following providers for limited functions:

• Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, payment, billing, tax, receipt, refund, chargeback, customer-portal, and license information as merchant of record.
• Yahoo receives requested symbols when market quotes are retrieved.
• Vercel hosts the application and may process request, security, and runtime-log information.
• Neon stores billing session, entitlement, webhook-event, and rate-limit records. It does not store financial scenario payloads.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Their processing may take place outside Canada, where information can be subject to local law.

nomorework does not receive or store your full card number, bank-account number, or payment credentials. Lemon Squeezy processes that information. We may receive limited order and license details, such as customer email, product, subscription status, renewal or end date, order identifier, and license status, when needed to provide access.

Guest financial plans remain in your browser until you remove them, clear browser storage, or replace them through an import. Signed-in cloud sync stores one application-encrypted plan bundle per account. Account-specific recovery drafts can also remain in IndexedDB on a device after an interrupted or failed sync.

Account deletion cancels future recurring renewals without an automatic refund and permanently erases the application account, its plan status, and cloud data. Planner access belongs to the deleted account and is not transferred to a new one. Deletion cannot remotely erase offline browser copies or files you exported, and backup copies may remain until the applicable restore window expires. Calculation requests are not retained after the response is returned. Infrastructure and service providers retain operational, payment, transaction, or security records according to their settings, legal duties, and published policies. We do not publish a fixed hosting-log retention period because it can depend on the active hosting plan and configuration.

We use technical and organizational measures suited to the limited information we process. No system is risk-free. Browser storage can be viewed by someone with access to your device or browser profile, and exported files can be read by anyone who obtains them. Use a secured device and store backups carefully. You can use Explorer without an account, decline to activate Planner, avoid quote lookup, clear local storage, export a backup, or use Start Fresh. Billing information and purchase records can be managed through Lemon Squeezy.

To ask about access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or a privacy concern involving information we control, email contact@nomorework.ca. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request. Some records may need to be retained where law permits or requires it.

Signing out does not cancel a subscription or transfer a linked license. Subscription cancellation prevents future renewals but is not an automatic refund and does not erase provider records.

NOMOREWORK is intended for people who have reached the age of majority where they live. We do not knowingly offer the service to children or ask children to submit personal information.

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented in the service or through available contact information where appropriate.nomorework
